Attendance system questions
How does the attendance management system calculate worked hours?
Worked hours are computed from an employee's check-in and check-out time, minus their assigned shift's unpaid break duration — automatically, for every attendance record.
Can I set up different shifts for different teams?
Yes. Create unlimited shifts (e.g. Day Shift 9 AM–6 PM, Night Shift 8 PM–5 AM) with their own start time, end time, and break length, then assign employees to the shift that fits their role.
Does attendance data affect payroll automatically?
Yes. Attendance and approved unpaid leave both feed into the payroll engine, so loss-of-pay is calculated automatically when payslips are generated — keeping HR and payroll data in sync.
